Shut Up & Write
Hi friends! The jolly season is here and @abbyandfurriends is hosting yet another writing workshop at Apprentice!
The goal is to give yourself uninterrupted time to be creative! You can work on outlines, poems, journaling, fan fiction, short stories, or even the next Great American Novel. It’s all up to you! And remember, there’s no obligation to share what you’re writing. Some writing materials and notebook paper as well as craft books will be provided to help generate inspiration.

Dallas Writing Club
Everyone has a book inside of them but sometimes it's hard to find the time. This is your excuse to give yourself the freedom away from busy life and let the words flow!
We'll take a little time to chat and set up shop, then dive *write* into our projects!
The goal is to give yourself an hour of creativity. It might be short stories, working on your novel, creative nonfiction, fanfiction, or journaling! There's no pressure to share when the hour is up.
I'll have pens, paper, and resource materials available to help spark ideas.
Writing Club
⏰The first meeting will be:⏰
18 August 2024 (Sunday)
11:30AM-12:30PM
⏩The cafe in HALF-PRICE BOOKS flagship store⏪
5803 E NW Hwy · (214) 379-8000
Dallas, TX
The goal is to meet once a month for 1 hour for the freedom and time we might not otherwise get in our busy lives.
You don't have to share what you write.
It can be an outline.
Fiction.
Poetry.
Scripts.
Non-fiction.
Journaling.
All you have to do is show up, get a coffee or a snack and let loose with your creativity!
With the option to stay longer if you find yourself in a flow or want to talk shop! I'll provide some books on writing for anyone that would like to look through them.
Write Stuff - Ridglea
If you have stories, memories, ideas, or life experiences – then you have the right stuff to write stuff!
Come join us! We meet on the first Friday of the month. We will discuss writing, share some tips, and do some writing in journals you will receive from library. There will be no grading involved!
Your Fort Worth Public Library wants to empower our guests with opportunities for life-long learning. This educational program was designed for adults.
Shut Up & Write!: In-Person Writing Group
Details
Join us for an hour of in-person writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 9:30 am on Saturday mornings.
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem, or just plain work stuff -- you're invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
