OnStage @ APL presents "Accipiter War" Authors Patrick and Blake Seaman

  • Allen Public Library 300 North Allen Drive Allen, TX, 75013 United States (map)

Launch into the sci-fi world of the "Accipiter War" pentalogy with discussions from the father-son authors Patrick and Blake Seaman

Praised as a "worthy addition to the Space Opera genre," the "Accipiter War" pentalogy tell the exciting story of an entire Texas city and military base being abducted-scooped up whole, and deposited inside a vast artificial, hollow, alien world. Can our heroes discover why they were all abducted and by whom? Is it for some great evil or a beautiful destiny?

Patrick Seaman has an extensive career in publishing. He helped Mark Cuban launch AudioNet/broadcast.com in 1995, which was sold to Yahoo for $5.4B. After brodcast.com, Patrick continued to push content boundaries with Timberwolf Press, which published the first known MP3 CD/eBooks and popularized digital downloads of eBooks and episodic audiobooks. He published the first audiobook online and serialized it as what was the first know fiction podcast series.

Can’t be there in person? The program will be streamed live on ACTV. For online, cable channel, and streaming app options, view the Watch ACTV page or use the live streaming link provided in the sidebar.

The library is located at 300 N. Allen Dr. Call 214-509-4911 for additional information.
