Fort Worth History Night

Fort Worth has such an incredible history, especially in the Arlington Heights area. Monkey and Dogs is excited to welcome local authors Dawn Youngblood and Juliet George along with the Arlington Heights Museum coordinator, Brett Hyder to the shop to discuss this fascinating area of Fort Worth.

Dawn Youngblood, PhD, is the author of several histories including Fort Worth and The SMS Ranch. She has served as director of Historic Preservation and Archives for Tarrant County.

Fort Worth native Juliet George holds degrees in journalism and history from the University of Texas and Texas Christian University, respectively. Her books include Fort Worth Arlington Heights and and Camp Bowie Boulevard.

Brent Hyder, a coordinator at the Arlington Heights Museum will also join our authors as well, to discuss the museum and share some interesting history with the audience.
