Cake and Prose is a unique literary event celebrating genre fiction, local talent, and cake.

The ingredients are simple: Three stories. An author shares three stories — read by three different actors. These stories could be any genre. They could be short stories or excerpts of a longer work. Three songs. A musical performance by a guest artist adds another layer to this night of entertainment. Themes can emerge between the stories and songs. One cake.

During the intermission, there is cake. Really good cake from a local bakery. Mix together and enjoy!
